Jalapenos

A ground-up new build for Jalapeños Restaurant in Eagle River, Alaska, encompassing full interior design, space planning, and project management from concept through completion. The scope included close collaboration with the architect on exterior design, establishing a cohesive creative vision carried seamlessly from the building's facade through to the interior.

Modern finishes and fixtures were selected throughout, with particular attention given to the architectural challenge of the restaurant's high ceilings. Acoustical recessed paneling was designed and integrated to introduce warmth, dimension, and sound attenuation, balancing the scale of the space without compromising its openness.

The design was further refined around the client's pre-selected furniture and artwork, requiring a thoughtful and considered approach to ensure all existing pieces were absorbed into a unified design narrative that felt deliberate and cohesive from every angle.
