Kyleen's approach to design is shaped by a rare blend of business strategy, creative intuition, and a genuine understanding of how people connect with the spaces around them. Her career began in business and marketing, where she developed a fluency in visual storytelling and brand building, before she returned to school to formally study interior design, drawn by a lifelong fascination with the built environment.

Her early design work focused on real estate renovation, reimagining homes to enhance their market appeal. Rewarding as it was, Kyleen found herself drawn toward something more meaningful, design centered on people and the way they truly live. That pursuit led her to Alaska, where she joined Salt, LLC and immersed herself in commercial interiors, with a deepening focus on hospitality. It was in restaurant design that she discovered her passion for shaping atmosphere through materiality, layout, and mood.

She went on to serve as lead interior designer at an architectural firm, where she helped establish a new design standard and led both residential and commercial projects from concept through construction. Known for her clarity in space planning and her ability to hold both the emotional and functional needs of a space simultaneously, she brought a thoughtful, context-driven approach to every project she touched.

Most recently, Kyleen led design at a custom home construction company, where she focused on highly curated residential work and luxury homes. It was there that her process fully matured, becoming deeply intuitive and collaborative, rooted in proportion, detail, and a profound respect for how people live. She has always believed that every successful interior begins with listening.

That same instinct for creating meaningful spaces extended naturally into event styling and curation. From planning her own wedding to hosting gatherings in her home and bringing vision to family and friends' showers and celebrations, Kyleen discovered a deep love for the art of the occasion. Each experience reinforced what she already knew to be true, that a beautifully considered setting elevates every moment within it. It is this passion for crafting intimate, grounded experiences that now shapes her approach to event design.

Outside the studio, Kyleen draws inspiration from the natural world, from travel, and from the diverse cultures and ways of living she has encountered along the way. From managing a boutique winery on Waiheke Island in New Zealand to exploring remote corners of the globe, these experiences continue to inform her work with texture, nuance, and quiet intention.​
